This research project aims to explore new ways of understanding archive. Taking the conventional definition and studying its essential parameters —such as format, cataloguing, obsolescense, collective archive...—, an alternative theory was generated on how to use format as a vehicle to find new artistic derivates, generate new materials and content to be archived aswell, and treating them by their intrinsic value, separate from the original archive. The result is a series of experiments that explore these possibilities, with the definitive outcome consisting of a performative conference during which I exposed the entire investigative process while a digital tapestry is woven in real time in which a transcription of the conference is stored and archived as a colored mosaic. The entire project was archived aswell in a GitHub repository, where both the investigation and the experiments can be accessed and transformed.

This was my final project for the postgraduate degree I attended at Institut del Teatre (Barcelona) on Digital Technology and Scene. The performative conference took place at the Institut's headquarters on June 20th 2025.
