LISTEN – visualizers

Song visualizers for the entire album "LISTEN" by xicu. Revolving around the idea of listening and the trends in resurrecting internet-core and the nostalgia tied to digital audio, the design is a reference to the original Windows Media Player and its iconic green head skin "Headspace".

Each song has its own visualizer with lyrics, with a variation of the video on-screen together with a variation in the overall animation of the image in movement, effects and overall vibes, with the aim to better tie it to the song being played. For the album's listening party, the videos were strung together in a continuous single animation where the head would gradually experience each song in order.
